Bebo Mobile lets you connect to Bebo through your phone, so you can keep in touch with your friends on the move.

All you need to do is go to http://m.bebo.com on your phone’s internet browser. That’s where you can sign up for text alerts, update your blog, send mails, message your mates, upload photos using MMS and more.

Orange customers can receive text alerts from Bebo Mobile for free. If you’re on Dolphin pay as you go, you get free access to Bebo on your phone, including Bebo Mobile. If you’re a pay monthly customer, you’ll pay for your browsing time.

Profile Comments, Mail and Sayings from your friends are all available on text alerts. New alerts are added all the time, so check out the Bebo Mobile Group to keep updated.

You’ll be sent a text automatically when you have a new Mail or Profile Comment. You can choose to follow your friends, so you get a text alert each time they post a new saying.

It’s easy to change your settings and adjust your alerts. Just go to Mobile Settings where you can switch your alerts on or off, set a maximum number of daily alerts, turn your Profile Comments on or off, and choose which friend Sayings you’re updated on.

There’s two easy ways to do this. Go to Mobile Settings and choose ‘Subscribe to my Top 16’, or type in your friend’s nickname and choose ‘Subscribe’ to receive their Sayings.

You certainly can. If the message fits into one text, you can just reply back with a text. If the message is too long, you’ll receive a link that takes you straight to the message on the Bebo Mobile site. You can reply to it there.

There’s two ways to switch off alerts. You can text STOP to 22326 or reply to any text you receive from Bebo with STOP. Another way to switch off alerts is through the web. Head to the Bebo Mobile section where you can change your preferences including switching off your alerts.

It’s simple. Snap your photo on your phone, and send it via MMS to 22326. If you want to set a caption, just type it into the subject of your MMS.

All the photos you upload using Bebo Mobile will go into a special Mobile Photos album. You can copy them from there into any other albums you want.

To save time when you’re texting, there are shortcuts you can use. These are simply ways to make using Bebo Mobile easy and speedy by shortening your commands. So if you want to post a Saying, text ‘say’ followed by your Saying.
For Profile Comments text ‘c’. For Mail type ‘m’ and for
Blog type ‘b’.

Nicknames are a quick and handy way to send messages to your Bebo friends, without having to text their full usernames. When you sign up to Bebo Mobile, your friends will automatically be assigned a nickname. You can change them in the Edit Nicknames page of the Mobile Settings section on Bebo.com.

Go to the profile page of the person you want to report and click on the Report Abuse button underneath their profile photo. If it’s a photo that you want to report, just click the ‘Report Abuse’ button underneath it.

Don’t worry: when you report another Bebo member, your details will not be revealed.
